At our May breakfast we look forward to welcoming Gillian Docherty, CEO of The Data Lab, an innovation centre helping organisations leverage the value of data for economic and social benefit.
Gillian will take us on a journey to 2035 and how the world could look then and the use and impact of data, robotics, artificial intelligence has on our lives. Speeding ‘back to the present’ Gillian will tell us what is going on in Scotland right now and share with us some of the activity her and her team at The Data Lab are doing in this space right now.
Gillian has been in the technology sector for over 20 years and joined The Data Lab as CEO 2 years ago from her post as sales leader for IBM’s Software Group for Scotland. She is currently responsible for delivering the strategic vision; the aim of which is to create over 250 new jobs and generate more than £100 million to Scotland’s economy.
This strong background in technology combined with Gillian’s B2B experience as a Director of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce sets up what promises to be an informative and entertaining Breakfast.
Spaces are limited so book early – it’s going to be ‘out of this world’.
